Outpayce, a recent Amadeus spinoff platform, is modernizing B2B travel payments.
According to a press release, Amadeus is transforming its current B2B payments business into its own platform in order to grow its travel payments business line.
Amadeus has also applied for an e-money license to allow Outpayce to provide businesses with a pre-paid virtual card within its B2B wallet platform. This pre-paid virtual card can be used by travel firms to pay lodging and airline companies.
David Doctor, who will be the CEO of Outpayce when it launches as a B2B travel payments resource, is also executive vice president of payments at Amadeus.
He said in a news release that “We’re well placed to both expand the range of services, locations, and clients we serve as well as improve our current service to consumers. via the licensing application, we submitted for eMoney and the investments we’ve made in both personnel and technology.
