Bluegrass Supply Chain is utilizing Locus Autonomous Mobile Robots

“We always prioritize the ROI [return on investment] for our customers and our company,” Bluegrass Supply Chain Chief Operating Officer Raquel Summers said in a statement. “By adding our Locus Robots, we have significantly reduced the time it takes to train our team members, increased the pace of production, improved the quality of part identification, and strengthened our safety procedures.”

Bluegrass Supply Chain used robots to save time, decrease touchpoints, and simplify travel, according to the statement.

This implementation is part of the company’s collaboration with Locus Robotics to harness sophisticated automation technologies to increase operational efficiency, simplify order fulfillment, and elevate the customer experience, according to the statement.

“By embracing and setting future goals for automation at Bluegrass, we are making it possible for us to provide faster, safer, and more reliable services to our valued customers,” Bluegrass Supply Chain CEO John Higgins said in a statement.

Retailers of all sizes are attempting to make better use of the inventory management solutions at their disposal, according to a research published in October 2022.

In October, Walmart announced the acquisition of Alert Innovation, a robotics automation business that produces automated technology for Walmart’s market fulfillment centers that uses bot technology to help store, retrieve, and distribute orders.
