SendFriend, a B2B payments company, buys compliance service provider DigiPli

The assets of US compliance provider DigiPli have been purchased by B2B FinTech company SendFriend for an undisclosed sum. SendFriend is reinventing how businesses send and receive cross-border payments.

SendFriend is a financial services and technology company focused on offering a seamless business-to-business (B2B) payments solution for banks and financial institutions needing access to the US market. SendFriend was one of the first companies to settle payments on the blockchain.

DigiPli’s technology boasts the “next generation” AML model, where a single, trusted partner offers a packaged deal of all the systems, personnel, tools, and information a financial institution needs to design, implement, and manage a comprehensive customer onboarding programme from beginning to end.

With the help of this cutting-edge technology, SendFriend will be able to expand its current platform and provide a more comprehensive payments-as-a-service offering by adding a number of compliance-related features.

“Decades of experience in compliance and international regulation served as the foundation for DigiPli. Jeff Horvath, CEO of DigiPli, who will continue in his role as an adviser, stated, “We designed our technology expressly to make it easier for fintechs to satisfy their compliance duties. We’re delighted it’ll be included into SendFriend’s cutting-edge payment infrastructure.
